Carrick Jobs and Careers is a dedicated team that assists students in gaining practical industry experience. Services are free of charge and help students with a competitive advantage over others; it also ensures students not only have the skills learnt from their classes, but that they have the confidence to showcase this when meeting a new employer.

Resume Development

Resumes are documents that should be as individual as you are. Your resume over the years will be a constantly changing and ever evolving document.

  • Try to keep your resume as short but informative as possible
  • Avoid paragraphs, write in point format
  • Be sure to include details of all referees
  • Make your resume clear and concise
  • Put your resume into a clear and easy to follow format
  • Do not include information that cannot be supported or verified
  • Prioritise the most important information
