Carrick and the City of Melbourne Couch

Carrick in conjunction with the City of Melbourne held a ‘Working in Australia seminar’ last week for international students living in Melbourne.

The seminar addressed how to get the skills to be job ready, student rights in the workplace, resume writing and interview preparation. The seminar was conducted by Carrick Melbourne Campus Director, Adriana Del Mastro with expert advice from Director of Human Resources, Bianca Witkin and the Salvation Army.

The seminar was held at The Couch, a City of Melbourne run international student centre on Bourke St.

Carrick has a collaborative partnership with the City of Melbourne and held the seminar to inform international students about exploitation in the workplace and developing the skills necessary to find good jobs.
