FNS50204 Diploma of Accounting

This course prepares students to perform assistant accounting duties for private and public entities. Students develop knowledge in supervising and controlling accounting systems, maintaining internal control systems, preparing financial statements for reporting entities, analysing business performance, preparing tax returns and managing small teams.

Modes of study

This course is delivered in a classroom and if applicable in practical based environment with practical requirements simulated to reflect the real work situation. The delivery of training will include a mixture of classroom theory, practical delivery, group discussions, and individual research.
