BSB60507 Advanced Diploma of Marketing

This course offers a practical understanding of marketing theory, marketing communications, developing marketing solutions and reviewing marketing performance. You will develop a basic understanding of areas such as business law, e-business and marketing management.
Gain knowledge and an understanding of a range of specialist marketing areas including marketing strategy development, international marketing, direct marketing, e-business, marketing management and marketing planning. Develop an understanding of budgeting, economics and business planning.

Entry Requirements

For direct entry applicants must have successfully completed an Australian Year 11 or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants who do not satisfy direct entry requirements will be assessed individually to assess skills and aptitude to study.

Prerequisites For This Qualification

This qualification is suitable for individuals who have:

  • Extensive vocational marketing experience in senior marketing positions with a wide range of skills, but without a formal marketing qualification
  • BSB51207 Diploma of Marketing or other relevant qualification/s or
  • a need to gain formal recognition of their skills to improve their career pathways within the nominated industry sector.

 The Next Step

Upon successful completion of this course, graduates without prior work experience may find employment as a Marketing Trainee, Marketing Assistant, Assistant Product/Market Manager or Sales Representative.
Graduates with related work experience may find marketing roles such as Marketing Manager, Product Manager or Marketing Director.
