WRH20109 Certificate II in Hairdressing

A Certificate II course prepares you to become a Level One Apprentice Hairdresser or Salon Assistant. The course enables you to work under supervision and provide assistance to hairdressers. Students learn business skills such as customer service, safe work practices and communications skills. Students develop hairdressing industry knowledge, learn to shampoo hair, apply and remove semi permanent colours and dry hair.

Mode of Study

This course is delivered in a classroom and if applicable in practical based environment with practical requirements simulated to reflect the real work situation. The delivery of training will include a mixture of classroom theory, practical delivery, group discussions, and individual research.

Equipment and Uniform

Cost of uniform and tool kit ranges from A$1,100 to A$1,300.
