Yi studied Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery)
"I am Yi Wang. My nickname is Leo. I have been in Australia 11 months from last September. I have been learning Commercial Cookery at Carrick Institute of Education.
At the beginning I came to Australia, as a new overseas student, I felt excited, happy and upset.
I really wanted to be a chef in Australia. I tried to find some relevant jobs, but I failed. After I knew there was a recruitment team of job-seeking in Carrick, I put all my hopes onto the team.
To be honest, all the team members are very warm-hearted and obliging. They all gave me a lot of help, especially, Natalie. She helped me to edit my resume and told me some very useful interview skills. I was really encouraged by her happy smile after my failures of job seeking.
After 1 week of patient waiting, I got the chance of an interview in Doltone House, a restaurant which has a good reputation in Pyrmont Sydney, even in New South Wales. I have successfully stayed there as a trainee chef till now.
I really appreciate the work that the whole team has done for me especially Natalie. Thank you! I hope that you will find a job by the guidance coming from the great Carrick recruitment team."
