Brigitta studied Advance Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery)
"Let me introduce myself, my name is Brigitta Plosz. I am from Hungary. I am currently studying at Carrick Education of Institution to become a chef. After I started my studies in January 2008 as a full- time cookery student at the Sydney Campus I really wanted to get a job in the kitchen. I had updated my resume and set up to find a job. After 1 month of seeking I was unsuccessful finding a job, so that I had decided to ask the Carrick Recruitment Office for assistant. I wish I had done it earlier!
To be honest, all liaison officers, Kim, Natalie and Timothy were friendly, helpful and provided me professional assistance with redoing my resume, finding jobs and setting me up for trials in the hospitality industry. I am really grateful for their service.
At present, I am gaining experience at one of Sydney’s three hat restaurants, QUAY, as a cook assistant. I truly enjoy working at this fine dining restaurant. I am doing food preparations for the larder and main course sections as well as serving entrees and main dishes during service time. I cannot thank Natalie Lee enough for this excellent opportunity in my career.
I highly recommend all students to make the best of the assistance of Carrick’s Students Career Guidance and Industry Liaison Office."
