Carrick students celebrated Australia Day with all the Aussie favourites at the Adelaide campus last week.

The fantastic turn out took part in an Australian Trivia quiz and a poster competition in which students were invited to submit a poster in the theme ‘What I love about Australia’.

Green and gold were the colours of the day and everyone was encouraged to dress in green and gold or quintessential Australian costume.

Aussie music played in the background while students and staff alike enjoyed a morning tea of favourites including ANZAC biscuits, lamingtons (handmade by the Carrick English Language students!) damper and vegemite sandwiches.

The event was a great success, enjoyed by all and introduced Carrick Adelaide’s international students to some Aussie classics!
