Vocational Education students enjoyed an afternoon sausage sizzle during their lunch break on Wednesday, 28 September. The party was organised by Student Services to welcome students to the new term. Over one hundred and fifty students and staff from the Cleveland street campus attended the event.

Special guest, Tong Sheng Ch'ng (Thomson), National Secretary of the Council of International Students Australia (CISA) addressed the students and encouraged them to actively participate in extra-curricular activities to develop their leadership skills. He related his own experiences as a student which motivated students to join the Student Representative Council.

The Carrick Student Services team enjoyed organising the event and were very satisfied with the turnout of students and staff.
