Carrick Brisbane campus has opened its kitchen doors to students. The extensive refurbishing project is complete and hospitality students now benefit from learning in brand new commercial kitchen facilities.

At Carrick, we also work closely with hospitality industry partners to ensure qualifications are relevant to the dynamic industry.

As part of their training, students complete work based training with one of Carrick’s industry partners. Students gain practical experience in a real life kitchen environment, complimenting their in-house training at Carrick.

Restaurant and Catering Australia fully support Carrick’s aim to supply quality, industry relevant graduates, and have released a statement in support of international students studying hospitality.  The statement confirms that the hospitality industry is suffering critical skills shortages and that international students are essential to helping address this.
