Carrick graduations
It was an eventful month at Carrick as students from Carrick Institute of Education and Carrick Higher Education celebrated their celebrated their success in July.
Carrick Higher Education Melbourne held graduation for its second class of graduates. Nine Bachelor of Business (Hospitality and Tourism Management) students received their degrees in a formal ceremony held at the Docklands Campus. The graduation was a culmination of two years of study, preparing them for careers in the hospitality and tourism industries.
In Melbourne and Sydney it was also time to celebrate for Carrick vocational graduates. In Melbourne, Carrick staff presented graduates with certificates and in Sydney, Campus Director, Monica Carpenter led the presentation.
Graduates were successfully completing Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas in business, event management, community welfare, tourism and hospitality and awards were given to the top academic performers of the class.
In Sydney, a speech was given to graduates by one of Carrick’s industry partners, William Komoroski, Director of Tomatillo Grill and Catering Company. Eighty five per cent of Mr Komoroski’s employees are Carrick graduates or students.
The formal ceremonies were followed by drinks and canapés with Carrick staff, family and friends.
The Carrick team would like to congratulate all graduates and wish them every success in their future
plans.
